About AwayPod

AwayPod is creating private, immersive pods for the moments when an airport becomes too loud, too crowded, or simply too long. In 15 minutes, panoramic screens, directional audio, a reclining seat, and gentle airflow can transport a traveler to a tropical beach, mountain cabin, underwater reef, or spaceship.

The first step is a modular demonstration pod built for event testing. A touchscreen will handle payment and scene selection, while occupancy sensors will manage sessions and flag the pod for cleaning. What we learn will shape pricing, operations, and the path to the first airport location.

The mission is simple: give delayed travelers, families, and anyone feeling overstimulated a brief, memorable place to reset.
